    This type of mortgage is aimed at the older generation who own their home outright with no mortgage borrowing. A percentage of the equity from the property can be released to them without them having to make any monthly contribution to repay the borrowing amount. This is particularly useful to some clients who have a low income in retirement and the additional funds could improve their month to month lifestyle.
